When you come to Barbz, our busy, energetic environment is still one of fun, with a ‘humming' atmosphere that can leave you laughing with all our different personalities.

Barbara's Background

My name is Barbara ('Barbz'), and I am the founder of Barbz. I was born and bred in Te Puke, and I consider it an honour to be very involved with the community & people of Te Puke and the Bay of Plenty in general.

I am privileged to have such a wonderful team, who inspire me to make everyday count. We in Te Puke are certainly up with the play with hair fashion.

I like to encourage people to "Don't set yourself up to fail; set yourself up to achieve". I am a firm believer in the power of mind and positive thinking, and that has helped me reach where I am today.

In case you wondered, I am not only into hairdressing: I also fulfil my other dreams of travel, kayaking, yoga, children and grandchildren.
So it is true, that ‘You are what you think'.

 

Barbz Staff

I have a ‘Dream Team’ of 6 staff – including two daughters: Roshelle and Paulette.  I am privileged to have such a wonderful team, who inspire me to make everyday count. You can rest assured that we at Barbz Te Puke, are certainly up with the play with hair fashion.

How it Works

Acceleration Training™ with Power Plate® machines creates instability in the human body, as with each vibration the body is forced to perform reflexive muscle actions, 25 to 50 times per second.
